New York Philharmonic Receives Two NEA Grants

Posted May 09, 2018

We are pleased and grateful that the New York Philharmonic has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Art Works grants for 2018–19 activities. The programs receiving grants are Philharmonic Schools and our radio program, The New York Philharmonic This Week.

The Art Works category is the NEA’s largest funding category and supports projects that focus on the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, public engagement with diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts, and/or the strengthening of communities through the arts.

Here’s to another year in the Philharmonic’s long history of spreading the joy of music through education and audio broadcasts!
